Personal data we process
The Wever Lodge processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you yourself have provided us with this information. Below is an overview of the personal data that we process:
- First and last name
- Address
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- IP address, internet browser and device type
You are not required to provide us with this information, but without it we cannot accept a reservation from you.
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or services are not intended to collect data on website visitors who are younger than 16. Unless there is permission from parents or guardians. We advise parents to be involved with the online activities of their children in order to prevent their data being collected without parental permission. If you believe that we have collected the personal data of a minor without permission, contact us via verblijf@weverlodge.com and we will delete the information.
Reasons and manner we process personal data
The Wever Lodge processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To be able to call or e-mail you if that is necessary in order to perform our services;
- To take care of your reservation at our hotel;
- To settle your payment;
- To send our newsletter if you have signed up for it
Camera surveillance
- The Wever Lodge uses camera surveillance as is needed to protect its property and guests. Camera images are used to identify individuals and vehicles.
(Direct) Marketing
- In order to extend offers interesting to you, we collect commercially interesting data, such as demographic information. We may collect information about you from third parties, including information from our partners and social media sites in accordance with your settings on such websites.
Social media
- The Wever Lodge can be found on various forms of social media, such as Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin. We may use your personal data when you use functions on these websites and/or apps, such as a “Facebook-like”. If you use such a function, we may obtain your personal data through our social media in question.
How long do we retain personal data
The Wever Lodge retains your personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data is collected. An exception is the use of your data for our mailing list, if you yourself have subscribed to it.
Sharing personal data with third parties
The Wever Lodge provides information solely to third parties and only if that is necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with legal obligations. We do not share your data outside of the EU.
Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use
The Wever Lodge uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe upon your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is saved on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit a website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation and user friendliness of our website. They ensure that the website works properly and remember your preferences for example. They also enable us to optimalise our website. You can block cookies by installing your internet browser such that it does not save them. Additionally you can delete all of the information that has been saved via your browser settings.
Accessing, changing or deleting data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Additionally you have the right to revoke consent or object to the processing of your personal data by the Wever Lodge. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you may submit a request to have the personal data that we possess sent to you or to another organisation, determined by you, in a computer file. You may send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data or a request to revoke your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to verblijf@weverlodge.com. To verify that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of an official form of identification with the request. Make sure your photograph, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of a passport), passport number and Burgerservicenummer (BSN) are black. This is to ensure the protection of your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, within a maximum of four weeks.
